These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Glenkirs Video Publish ("the Application", "we", "us"), a private desktop content workflow that integrates with TikTok for Developers (Login Kit and Content Posting API).

1. Acceptance
By installing, configuring, or using the Application, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Application.
2. Description of service
The Application runs on your own computer. It helps you prepare short-form videos and, after your explicit action, publish them to TikTok accounts you own and authorize via OAuth. The Application is intended for personal or internal use by the account owner, not as a multi-tenant public hosting service.
3. TikTok
Your use of TikTok is subject to the TikTok Terms of Service, TikTok Developer Terms of Service, TikTok Community Guidelines, and applicable TikTok for Developers policies.
The Application uses TikTok Login Kit (OAuth) and the Content Posting API (Direct Post). You are responsible for content you publish and for complying with copyright, privacy, and platform rules.
The Application is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by TikTok. You must not represent the Application as an official TikTok product.
4. Your responsibilities
- You must only connect TikTok accounts you are authorized to manage.
- You must have the necessary rights to the videos you upload and publish.
- You must not use the Application to spam, mislead users, or violate copyright or privacy rights.
- You are responsible for securing your device, TikTok API credentials, and OAuth tokens.
- You must comply with TikTok Developer Guidelines and request only scopes your use case requires.
- You must read and follow our Privacy Policy, which describes how TikTok user data is handled.
5. API credentials
TikTok Client Key, Client Secret, and OAuth tokens are stored locally on your machine. You must not share them with unauthorized parties.
6. Disclaimer
The Application is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, approval of your TikTok developer application, or successful publication on TikTok.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Application or TikTok services.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do.
